8 April'09, it was my Diploma Graduation Ceremony 2009 in Republic Polytechnic, woke up at about 6plus cos we need to reach school at 8am - 8.30am if not we can't go into the ceremony....luckily got a place for us to keep our bags (^-^)V.
I edited this logo of Graduation ceremony 2009, dun you think it look so unique after makeover~
After keeping our bags, we took our attendance paper to scan and proceed to the "robbing room" where I really see alot of student wearing their robes, and it was the initial place before we move to our seat at the auditorium. My queue no. was 309, and my diploma was industrial and operation management so it was after "aerospace...., biomedi...., communication..." engineering course, of course, my diploma was under school of engineering so it was held in the morning session, but afternoon session was for another school. After every row of student walk to the seat of the auditorium, we was told to follow the red arrow on the floor, and the cameraman was taking live video of us walking to our seat (how nervous I was starting to get, in the same time keep wondering where was my parent was sitting at....).
All of us were sitting nervously wondering when were we suppose to go up to stage to take our cerficate, there was alot of background sound. A guy beside said something so funny, "Why the music so dull, serious? Sounds like we are going for war..." (haha, so funny that I started to laugh abit...i thought "this is RP anyway, they do weird things, hahaha).
We all recalled that we were suppose to sing national anthem in the beginning of the ceremony, but I overheard some guy beside me, they say "No S'pore flag, how to sing national anthem!, Are they going to rise the flag out of nowhere or the screen maybe?"(ya, I agreed too, no flag how are we suppose to look at to sing the national anthem), after we were asked to rise, we saw our principal and sch dept. head brought in a torch-like crystal which glow in blue light, no one knew what was that and what is it for? When it was placed infront of the table, the national anthem song began to play....I was like "ehh, is it for us to look at it and sing national anthem ba, so weird and strange....",
Then after that, the mc start talking and asked the guest-of-honor to speak, but I can sense that the guest-of-honor abit proud, cos when the mc talk about his achievement, he way he sat was like...."come on, some more about me, hmm, not bad, some more about me...." that type of atitude....make me irritate abit, dun feel like listening to what he was speaking and start secretly take a tiny short nap...heehee~
Finally, it was our student to go up the stage to take our cerificate, row by row, step by step, every individual's name was called, and at last my row turn to stand up and move, my hand frozed and I keep wondering how am i supposed to smile infront of the camera, then finally my turn....I walked up.....mr.wang said congratz to me and we looked at the camera...then i walk out briskly....ta-da..finally over....felt relieved, but luckily I didn't got stage fright....Then soon, the ceremony ended with a student gold medalist with diploma and module award, everyone who knew the student said he act "guai", hahaha, ya i agreed, cos he really good at talking and sometime do crap abit la~ =) that is rp ma~ (^-^) A short national anthem to ended off....it was time for refreshment....
Heehee, everyone was so busy taking photo including me, buzzing with people walking around, moving to south agora for refreshment buffet, buying photo and getting our yearbook(got so many error in it!!!! they even get our whole engineering cohort diploma all mixed up lolx...) but never mind, cos they can't even do anything about it....we ate our buffet (not bad), keep taking photo, then finally find my parent to buy my graduation photo, all moved so quickly.....no time to stop....spotted alot of new add-on to the school....haiz~ we ask us are the 2nd/3rd cohort in this new school building~ (buzzing around here and there~) After that, my parent go home first, then I go with my friends to causeway awhile then go home too~
Photo Taken with my poly's friends~ (Camera-time) I edit abit on the logo to make this picture sparkle~
